This evening I attended the above meeting at CWAC.
The commencement of a community governance review for Willaston was on the agenda. I spoke on behalf of residents and answered questions about our motivation, and work to date, moving Willaston towards a Village Council.
The meeting was a success and the committee agreed a draft Terms of Reference and voted to begin the process of public consultation, subject to approval of the final Terms of Reference in July.
This is a fantastic achievement and a significant step forward for residents of Willaston as we move towards the creation of a village Council to represent our interests.
Well done and thanks to all those who have worked hard and given up their spare time to get the process this far.
