As per the request of the recent village petition, in the next couple of weeks, Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWAC) will start a Community Governance Review for Willaston, to find out what form of local governance is most suitable for Willaston.

Every household will receive a letter form CWAC (you may already have received yours), which will ask what you think about the current  arrangements.

Our aim is to ensure that the Community Governance Review delivers the best outcome for the residents of Willaston. We want as many residents as possible to respond, so that CWAC are able to gather a representative view.

Currently, there is no active residentโ€™s society in the village. We therefore encourage you to take part in the review and ask you to consider the following questions when responding:

  • Do you think that Willaston is thriving?
  • Do you feel that CWAC listens to residents?
  • Is your voice being heard?

Thank-you for taking the time to participate in this important process. Your feedback is crucial in shaping the future of our village.

          Warm Regards,

          The Willaston Matters Team
